Any Rockman X fan might like to see what some friends of mine and I been working on: the Rockman X scanlation project. I recently finished Chapter 11. Everyone can see the archive on my web site: http://www.drneko.com/scanlation/rmseries/rmx/manga/index.php.

zelda_zero and I been working on the Rock Man X scanlation project. I recently posted chapter 10. In addition, I'm looking into expanding the scanlation team. I realized that I'm not having same amount of time to dedicate myself to scanlation project as I use to, mainly I have to work extra hours to pay bills. I need a helping hand on cleaning up and editing the scans. If anyone's interested, please post a comment. Thank you.

After reviewing MHX, I think it's only fair that I do the same for MMPU.

The graphics are fairly well done considering the art style they used. The main mode was a lot of fun, and the ability to play as the RMs is great. The feature I liked the most was the level creator though...

I got the game about this time last week, and I must say it was very enjoyable. X modde is vather simple really, but the difficulty of Vile Mode makes up for it. X mode is basiclly a 3D version of the original, while VIle mode rearanges parts of levels, modifies boss & enemy difficulty, and is a pain in the arse to play!

Day of Sigma is definatly worth watching if you have the game, if not then click here to see it.

If you have a PSP or ever get one, then this game should be near the top of your list in what games to buy because it is worth it...

I don't know about the rest of you, but I personally plan on buying both of these games. They seem to have every feature I'vde wanted in MegaMan titles.

Megaman: Powered Up
-cut scenes before the boss battles and postible elsewhere.
-two new Robot Masters (timeman & oilman)
-A level editor
-Construction Mode (build your own levels)
-Mission Mode (play as the rms)
-enhansed graphics
-remixed music
-a playable version of the original 8-bit MM with Timeman & Oilman edited in

Megaman: Maverick Hunter X
-enhansed graphics
-remixed music
-a MM:PU playable demo
-Vile playable
-cutscenes

I'd like to hear about everyone else's opinions on these games, and if I missed anything in the lists above please tell me.

12th-Dec-2005 07:26 pm - Keyboard VS Controller
Yar
I bought a PS2 controller and hooked it up to my computer with an EMS USB2 and started playing X8. One problem I encountered was that it was difficult to dash jump, especially when doing it off a wall while holding a charge shot. With the keyboard I could freely use dash, jump, and shoot. Then I tried X5 and I did horridly. If I used the keyboard I would have aced it without dying. Therefore, when playing the X series, keyboard=<3

However, I find it much easier to play the MMZ and MMBN games with a GBA than a keyboard.

I feel sorry for the peeps that aren't able to play X games on the keyboard and GBA Megaman games on the GBA. Though a PS2 controller improves the experience does provide a challenge for the challengers.

And that's my two cents.
4th-Dec-2005 01:23 pm - Cool navis
Metool
I made up tons upon tons of fan navis (most whom appear in Neo Delta), so I'm wondering, who here has some made-up navis of their own? Just curious.

I already made:

Harpuia

Glacier La Cactank

Snipe Anteater (natch)

Dark Mantis

Dynamoman

Crystalman

Fefnir

Leviathan

and many more... Too many to post even. :P

So, anyone else here have some made-up navis?
